One Mom's Story: Darla and Baby Olivia

Babies are full of spice and everything nice, right? Well, it's hard to believe that when you have a newborn that won't stop crying. Especially when you are a first time mom who is adjusting to her new role in life (and lack of sleep!). Such was the case for Darla. For the first six weeks of her life, Darla's baby, Olivia, would not stop crying due to painful gas in her tummy. Darla tried everything--she says, "We tried the Mylicon Gas Drops and they didn't seem to do anything. We also changed her bottles and formula. I would be up with her most of the night or I would sleep with her so I could keep her legs elevated and my hand on her stomach." Added to the gas was the problem that Olivia wasn't a great pooper.
